Rules for Athlete Funding
The following excerpt is taken from the Athletes Manual:
ATHLETE FUNDING SELECTION CRITERIA
The five (5) qualification requirements for consideration for any Athlete Development Funding Programs are as follows:
1. The athlete MUST attend the Annual General Meeting each year, either in person or by proxy.
2.The athlete MUST be a registered associate or competitive member in good standing for a minimum of two (2) consecutive years immediately prior to the event in which funding is requested or be in the first year of their first-time membership, as of January 01, of the year in question.
3. The athlete MUST serve on a committee, group, and/or PERFORM a volunteer service at least once per twelve (12) month membership period.
4. The athlete MUST be approved by the Board of Directors and/or the Executive for the Canada StairClimbing Association
5. The athlete MUST wear the team uniform at the registration and the ceremonial parade of athletes prior to contest for which funding was requested.
Athletes must fulfill all five (5) qualification requirements to be eligible for consideration for any funding program.
