Training with Trevor is a totally new and dynamic experience that will allow the client to reach new physical heights. Working closely with clients, Trevor is able to best determine which approach is to be used in order for the client to see maximum results.

Trevor’s philosophy of training is that everyone is unique in what he/she wants to accomplish. No one should be given a “Cookie Cutter routine.”  In order to see results we must do four steps, 1) Reprogram the mind and get rid of limiting beliefs 2) Re-train/Re-align the body for proper body mechanics 3) Adjust nutrition to allow the body to decrease body fat and increase lean body mass as well as increase vitality and 4) Strengthen and make the core (Abs/Lower back/Hips) more effective in performing day to day tasks!

Originally from Regina and Calgary in Canada, Trevor now lives and works in Oakville, OntarioCanada, sharing his philosophy of fitness as a way of life.

As a testament to his own fit and healthy lifestyle Trevor trains 6 days a week using a very holistic approach to fitness, one that includes core strength and endurance, cardiovascular training, strength and muscular conditioning as well as postural balancing and flexibility training.

After putting in an impressive effort Rich climbed the building’s stairs 71 times over 15 hours and 34 minutes in February of 2009, a feat earning him the title second all time – an effort which is equivalent to going from sea level to the top of Mt. Everest!

Elaine Acosta - Graphic Designer/Athlete Support United States StairClimbing Association

Elaine Acosta is an endurance runner with a zeal for travel. Combining these two passions, Elaine has taken her obsession for running around the world by testing her endurance in almost 50 different countries. A graphic designer, she spends her spare time running and training…viewing the world as her own personal track and field. To put it lightly, Elaine’s inner drive and zest for life has her running anything and everything she can get her rubber soles on.

From the Athens Classic Marathon to the Berlin Marathon of Germany, for Elaine, the magic of running is never feeling the same turf under her feet twice. It is about constant adventure, changing environments, and being able to reach somewhere completely new at the end. Elaine is a proud member of USATF and has completed over 50 races in her career ranging from 5ks to ultramarathons. She has won 20+ overall/age group awards, various team awards, and is currently training for the 2010 Comrades Ultramarathon in South Africa. Although the Comrades has been called “The Ultimate Human Race”, Elaine is excited for the opportunity to climb Mt.Kilimanjaro after the race.

Elaine’s past adventures in extreme global athletics have taken her hang gliding in Rio de Janeiro, bungee jumping in Africa, snowmobiling to the top of a glacier in Iceland, repelling down a waterfall in Ecuador, and mountain biking down “The World's Most Dangerous Road” in Bolivia. Her passion for hiking has taken her to the top of Machu Picchu, Mt.Kinabalu, the Samaria Gorge, and several active volcanoes. She has ridden an ostrich in Africa and taken a dip with pink dolphins in the Amazon. Elaine has even tasted a termite.

Running, for Elaine, translates into the act of moving forward. Now she is ready to move upward.

Elaine decided it was time to start climbing. In 2009 Elaine ran in the preliminary heat of the NYRR Empire State Building Run Up. She completed third in her age group. The very next year she was selected to run in the elite invitational heat, finishing as the 32nd woman and 11th in her age group. Elaine is now a proud member of the USASCA. She hopes that stair climbing will challenge others like herself to take running to a fresh playing field. Elaine sees these upward-stepping goals as a whole new chapter in her adventurous athletic career.
